The Gutterboy members come from a long lineage of Progressive / Power bands. This legacy can be traced back to Jacksonville Florida, where bassist Gerald Bullard wrote their first songs.  

DESTINY UNFOLDS

Gerald, unhappy with his situation, left Big Engine in the summer of 2000 and a long awaited  plan was set into motion.  Benny Puckett, a phenomenal drummer  who had played with Big Engine for the past seven years was immediately recruited for the drummer position in the new band Gutterboy. In June of 2002 Jerry Bach came into the scene. Jerry had also played with Big Engine in 1996 where he met Gerald and Benny.  Jerry brought with him great talent and attitude.  Together, the three set out to conquer the music scene!

A NEW FUTURE

It didn't take long for the underground scene to become abuzz about these musicians joining forces.  Known for their stage presence and immaculate delivery, fans have at times traveled great distances to see them perform.  Critics are hailing them as one of the most promising new bands,  but the goal for Gutterboy is to transcend beyond these genres and enter the hearts and minds of all who hold an appreciation for great music.
